Dan undertook his medical training at Newcastle University and qualified in 2005. He subsequently worked in the Northern Deanery and started his cardiology registrar training in 2009. During his final two years of training, he focused on Cardiac Electrophysiology and Device Therapy whilst working at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. Dan completed his Cardiology Training in February 2017 and then undertook a Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. He started his substantive Consultant post at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in July 2018 and, together with Richard, are currently developing a complex Cardiac Electrophysiology service for patients who live in Norfolk.
Dan’s training has provided him with a breadth of experience in all aspects of cardiology and arrhythmia management including standard and complex ablation and device implantation.
